Man United receive boost to sign striker Victor Osimhen

Manchester United are reportedly preparing to part ways with striker Rasmus Hojlund, as manager Ruben Amorim seeks to revamp the team’s attacking options.

Hojlund, who joined United from Atalanta for £72 million, has struggled to make a significant impact, scoring only three goals in 27 Premier League appearances this season.

Amorim is keen on bringing in new forwards to bolster the squad’s attacking capabilities.

One of the primary targets is Wolverhampton Wanderers’ Matheus Cunha, with United reportedly ready to activate his £62.5 million release clause.

Additionally, Ipswich Town’s Liam Delap is on United’s radar, with a £30 million release clause which is now active after Ipswich Town’s relegation.

Another player that Amorim is targeting is Napoli attacker Victor Osimhen who is currently on loan at Galatasaray.

According to Tuttosport, Juventus have stepped out of the race to sign Osimhen this summer which would make it easier for United to make a move for him and bring him to Old Trafford.

The Nigerian attacker is set to be sold by the Italian giants this season with Premier League clubs, particularly Man United, showing interest in signing him.
