RB Leipzig have reportedly set an €80 million price tag on Dutch midfielder Xavi Simons, should he decide to leave the club this summer.

The 21-year-old joined Leipzig on a permanent basis from Paris Saint-Germain in January 2025 for a fee of €50 million plus significant add-ons, potentially totalling €80 million.

Initially joining Leipzig on an 18-month loan from PSG, Simons made a significant impact, scoring 10 goals and providing 15 assists across all competitions in his first season.

“If you ever think about doing something like that again, your backside will be OUT that door before it touches the ground!” – which former Man Utd star almost got kicked out by Fergie?

His performances prompted Leipzig to secure his services permanently, with the deal finalised in the last window.

Sky Germany reported: “For Xavi a departure is possible, but staying is not ruled out either.Leipzig aim to make a significant profit after signing him from PSG for €50m plus add-ons last winter.”
